The Real Location of MrBeast’s Private Island on ‘Beast Games

-

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has raised the stakes in reality competitions with his Beast Games Prime Video show. The show does everything possible, from giving away huge cash prizes to giving away expensive gifts. One of the most amazing prizes MrBeast has ever given away was a private island worth $1.8 million. The beautiful tropical island, called La Vivienda Island, with its white sand beaches and high-end amenities will be the ultimate prize for the winners of the tough competition.

With a cabana, ten bungalows, a swimming pool, a ping-pong table, and even a PlayStation, the island is everything you could want in a vacation spot. But where exactly is this faraway place? Let’s figure out what’s going on with La Vivienda Island.

Where did the “Beast Games” take place?

Filming for Beast Games took place in a number of beautiful places that were chosen to challenge the contestants and amaze viewers. In July 2024, the journey began at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas—where 2,000 people were starting out and—only 1,000 were left. The grand stadium set the dramatic tone for the first challenges and made it possible for MrBeast’s famously huge competitions to begin.

After a while, filming moved to Canada, to Downsview Park Studios in Toronto, Ontario. The place in question was turned into a “miniature village” that was used as the show’s busy “Beast City” complete with scary tasks and huge sets.

The island, though, is without a doubt the show’s crown jewel. It’s a beautiful private getaway that was the ultimate prize and the setting for later episodes.

Where Is La Vivienda Island?

People in Panama call La Vivienda Island “Beast Island.” It is part of the Pearl Islands archipelago and is about 30 miles south of the mainland. Reality TV shows—like Survivor, love to film in the Pearl Islands, which are known for their turquoise waters and lush greenery.

MrBeast’s choice of island is uninhabited, has calm water around it, and is surrounded by the islands of Bayoneta and Malaga. To make the perfect setting for Beast Games, the show built special accommodations, like a cabana and bungalows, that were made to hold tough competitions. The location’s natural beauty and remoteness made it a great setting for the dramatic challenges on the show— which kept contestants and viewers interested.

How did the Island fit into “Beast Games”?

There was a tough challenge at the start of the episode with La Vivienda Island: only 60 of the contestants could win a ticket to the island. Players fought hard for their chance to compete in paradise, in everything from intense races to tough strategic choices. When they got to the island, the fights got even tougher, and there was a final battle for control of the island itself.

There was only one winner for La Vivienda Island, but those who didn’t want to compete got an all-expenses-paid luxury vacation on another island. This was a prize that only MrBeast could think of.

La Vivienda Island is more than just a prize; it represents MrBeast’s goal to change the way people enjoy entertainment. It’s a prize that has never been seen on TV before because of its remote location, beautiful scenery and custom-built amenities. For Beast Games fans, it’s another reason to watch and see how the show’s big idea works magic.

There are five more episodes left, so the stakes will keep going up. Stay tuned to Prime Video for more surprises, challenges that will blow your mind, and maybe even another look at the beautiful La Vivienda Island.
