The fifth and final season of THE BOYS has officially wrapped filming in Toronto, marking the end of an unforgettable chapter for the team behind the popular Prime Video series. Creator and showrunner Eric Kripke, who led the show from its debut, shared a heartfelt message from the set of Vought HQ – one of the show’s most iconic locations – before it’s dismantled for good.
In his emotional note, Kripke said, “This is the last time I’ll ever be on this set. It’ll be torn down soon. It’s bittersweet, but my primary feeling is gratitude.” He added that getting the perfect combination of cast, crew, story, and timing was a rare gift. “To The Boys family: thank you, I love you all. To the fans: thanks for watching, can’t wait for you to see the grand finale.”
The cast and crew completed the final day of shooting about a week and a half after the official wrap party. Filming began on November 25, 2024, and wrapped on July 1, 2025.
THE STORY SO FAR
The Boys follows a group of vigilantes fighting back against Vought International and its elite superhero team, The Seven. The mission? Expose the truth behind the powerful and corrupt “supes.” Season 4 ended with Homelander (played by Antony Starr) securing control over the U.S. Presidency through his influence on the newly elected leader. As Homelander grows more dangerous, this final season will be the ultimate showdown.
According to Kripke, “The show is a serialized story that is about [Billy] Butcher and Homelander slowly crashing into each other… you have to let them smash into each other.” That’s what fans can expect in this last chapter.
