Production is officially set to begin on SULLIVAN’S CROSSING Season 4 this summer. The popular Canadian romantic drama, which has wowed viewers with its moving stories and strong acting, will film again in Halifax, Nova Scotia. From August 7 to November 25, 2025, the movie will be shot.
Based on the best-selling books by Robyn Carr—Sullivan’s Crossing is about Dr. Maggie Sullivan, a successful neurosurgeon who goes back to her small Nova Scotia hometown to get back in touch with her estranged father after having problems at work and in her personal life. The show is centered around the made-up town of Timberlake, which has a beautiful setting and a close-knit community. The Sullivan’s Crossing campground is in the middle of it. This is where Maggie grew up and where she starts to heal.
Morgan Kohan plays Maggie Sullivan, and Chad Michael Murray plays Cal Jones, a nice guy from the neighborhood with a complicated past. Scott Patterson plays Maggie’s dad, Sully. Tom Jackson, Andrea Menard and Allan Hawco round out the ensemble in key supporting roles.
The end of Season 3 was very dramatic. Maggie successfully performed a life-threatening surgery on Edna (Andrea Menard), which restored her vision after a very dangerous tumor was found. But Maggie’s already tough situation got worse when she had to deal with personal issues. Her doubts about her job and the choices she had made in the past put her relationship with Cal to the test. Just when things were looking like they might be getting better, Maggie’s ex-fling Liam showed up at the Crossing and turned out to be her secret husband.
This shocking cliffhanger will probably be a big part of Season 4. It makes us wonder about Maggie’s future with Cal, her career as a doctor and her relationship with Timberlake. The next season will have more twists, heartfelt moments, and fresh starts because it includes romance, medical drama, and small-town life.
Filming once again returns to Halifax, Nova Scotia, a region known for its coastal charm, making it the perfect setting for Timberlake. Over the past seasons, the province’s landscapes have helped bring the picturesque world of Sullivan’s Crossing to life, and fans can expect even more scenic visuals in Season 4.
