Culver City, located in western Los Angeles County, served as another significant filming site for Countdown. This historic city has been a central location for film and television since the early days of Hollywood. It’s home to Sony Pictures Entertainment, and its blend of old-Hollywood charm with modern infrastructure makes it ideal for contemporary TV productions.

BUDAPEST, HUNGARY
Parts of Countdown were also shot in Budapest, Hungary, even though most of the movie was shot in California. Scenes were filmed in District VII—which is on the Pest side of the Danube. The production team utilized parts of Santa Clarita for more expansive outdoor shots. Visitors to the city can explore locations like Six Flags Magic Mountain, Bridgeport Marketplace Lake, and William S. Hart Museum, which give a glimpse of the landscape captured in the series.
