Manchester City Centre

Director of the series, Sean Spencer shared, “The city’s mix of old industrial charm and contemporary spaces gave the series a unique and layered atmosphere.”

Bolton – Le Mans Crescent and Victoria Square
Le Mans Crescent in Bolton was another important filming location. This particular site’s old structure lent a weight to several of the emotional peak scenes.
Their majestic and somewhat forbidding design was appropriate for the dramatic scenes in the series.
Nearby Victoria Square also played a significant role in the exterior scenes. Producer Guy Hescott said, “Bolton’s urban charm and open spaces brought authenticity and depth to our outdoor sequences.”

Wirral Peninsula – Parkgate
Parkgate on the Wirral Peninsula provided a tranquil yet mysterious setting, making it a great choice for some of the show’s more suspenseful scenes. Its beautiful coastal views add an eerie feel that completes the story.
Rosalind Eleazar, who plays Kat Donovan, said, “Filming in Parkgate felt surreal. The peaceful surroundings gave us a stark contrast to the intensity of the scenes we were shooting.”
