Bridget is living in Hampstead for the first time in the series. Hampstead is a beautiful neighborhood in north London known for its cute streets and village-like feel. Director Michael Morris, who grew up in the area, talked about how excited he was to show off Hampstead’s beauty: “North London has a very specific, family-oriented vibe.” The Heath is always there and it has a very certain feel to it.
In the movie, Bridget’s house was based on a real Victorian house in Hampstead for the outside shots. However, Sky Studios Elstree built a set for the inside. The production team worked hard to make the set feel like a real Bridget Jones home, with a lot of clutter, bright walls, and personal touches like kids’ art and a shelf full of Bridget’s diaries.
Moor House in the City of London
Brooke works for a company in the middle of London called Better Women. Shots of the outside of the building took place at Moor House, a modern building with curved glass at 120 London Wall, EC2Y 5ET, in the City of London. What happened in the office, on the other hand, took place at BBC’s White City Studios, more specifically at Television Centre, 101 Wood Ln, London W12 7FA. To make the setting seem more real, background extras were real BBC employees.
Hampstead Heath – The Oak Tree Scene
In one of the film’s important romantic moments, Bridget meets Roxster under a big oak tree on Parliament Hill in Hampstead Heath. This scene involved climbing the tree, so the production team took special care not to harm it. They used removable branch stumps, rubber cast bark, and foam padding to protect the tree. After filming, all of these materials were carefully removed.

Bridget goes on a school trip to the Lake District with her son Billy’s class, where stunning views of the countryside serve as the backdrop. This is a stunning Victorian theater, listed as Grade II for its historical value.
Petersham House, Richmond
In a memorable scene, Roxster bravely leaps into a swimming pool to rescue a dog at an elegant garden party. This was filmed at Petersham House in Richmond (TW10 7AA), a private home owned by the founders of Petersham Nurseries.
