Bang (2025) Filming Locations

-

Directed by Wych Kaosayananda and written by Peter M. Lenkov and Ken Solarz, the upcoming action-thriller BANG (2025) stars Peter Weller, Jack Kesy, Tristin Mays, Kane Kosugi, Steve Bastoni, and Niko Tucci. The film follows the story of a ruthless hitman who survives a near-fatal attack, betrays his own gang, and sets off on a violent journey toward redemption — only to become the hunted.

The movie is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 11, 2025, and has drawn early attention not only for its gripping plot and cast but also for its stunning real-world locations.

WHERE WAS BANG (2025) FILMED?

In 2022, filming for BANG (2025) took place in Bangkok, Thailand. The Thai production company +Sixty Six worked with Kaos Entertainment to make the action come to life. Bangkok’s busy cityscape made for a rich and striking background that emphasized the film’s dark tone.

The filmmakers used a number of unique locations in the city, combining modern city planning with historic sites in a way that looks natural. These are the main places where a lot of the movie was filmed:

CHONG NONSI CANAL PARK, SATHON, BANGKOK

One of the most prominent locations in BANG is Chong Nonsi Canal Park, a newly renovated urban park in the heart of Bangkok’s financial district. The park brings the old Khlong Chong Nonsi canal back to life by turning it into a green public walkway. This idea came from South Korea’s Cheonggyecheon Restoration Project.

This location is featured in an important scene in the film, where the protagonist is seen navigating through the sleek and modern park, juxtaposed with his chaotic inner conflict. Chong Nonsi has a movie-like feel to it, with its wide stretches of greenery, clean water features, and impressive city skyline. It would look great in an action-packed thriller.

CHAO PHRAYA BRIDGE (MEMORIAL BRIDGE), BANGKOK

Chao-Phraya-Bridge

This historic bridge over the Chao Phraya River is often called the Memorial Bridge. It was used for many chase and action scenes in the movie. Because it has a lot of history and great views of the river and city—the bridge gives the scenes a sense of depth and movement.

At night, the lights from boats and nearby skyscrapers that reflect off the water make certain scenes more dramatic to look at. It’s used a lot when things are at stake and the main character is either running away from or facing enemies. One of the most visually stunning parts of the movie takes place here.

RED BRICK KITCHEN BY CHEF AUE, LAT PHRAO, BANGKOK

Red Brick Kitchen by Chef Aue

This location is a hidden gem in Bangkok and was transformed for several pivotal action scenes in the movie. You can find Red Brick Kitchen by Chef Aue in a beautiful red-brick building. It’s famous for its private Chef’s Table dining experiences. In real life, this restaurant serves fancy food in a cozy space. In the movie, it’s transformed into a secret meeting place and the scene of a terrible gunfight.

The cozy interiors and rustic feel are very different from the intense scenes that were filmed here. This makes the location stand out and adds to the emotional tension in the story.
