Fire Country Season 4 Starts Production in BC

-

Production is officially underway for Season 4 of CBS’s hit drama Fire Country. The series, led by Max Thieriot, has started filming in Vancouver, British Columbia, with cameras rolling from July 14, 2025, and filming expected to continue until March 5, 2026.

Fire Country is about Bode Leone, a man who wants to change his life by joining a firefighting program for people who are getting out of prison. Fans love the show because it has a good mix of action, emotion, and real-life issues. It’s back, and big changes are coming.

Vancouver is one of the most popular places to film in North America. The city can be used as a backdrop for a lot of different scenes because it has a strong production infrastructure, skilled crews, and beautiful natural scenery. British Columbia’s forests, rural roads—and urban corners are perfect for Fire Country because they look just like California’s wildfire zones and Cal Fire stations.

The city’s reliable weather and long filming history also make it ideal for a nine-month shoot, like Fire Country Season 4. Past seasons were shot in other parts of British Columbia as well, and this continuation strengthens the show’s connection to the region.

Major Cast Changes This Season

Season 4 comes with some notable shifts. Two original cast members—Stephanie Arcila (Gabriela Perez) and Billy Burke (Vince Leone)—are set to exit the series. During the intense two-part Season 3 finale, which ended with a life-threatening situation involving several important characters, hints of their leaving were made.

According to sources, Burke has not officially left the show yet, but Gabriela’s story ended with a dramatic stalker plot, so she could come back in guest roles. Producers say that her relationship with Bode is still going strong.

What Fans Can Expect in Season 4

The new season will pick up after the dramatic Season 3 cliffhanger, which left the Leone family trapped inside a burning memory care building. With Vince, Sharon, and Walter inside, three generations, the stakes could not be higher. The way the scene made Bode feel, who saw it from the outside, will be very important in the future.

In Season 4, there are also changes at the top of Station 42. Since Jake Crawford quit and Manny Perez applied for the job, the team is likely to change in how it works.Eve Edwards is also stepping into a larger leadership role after the destruction of the Three Rock fire camp.

More Stories to Tell

Showrunner Tia Napolitano and executive producers Joan Rater and Tony Phelan have made it clear—Season 4 will not shy away from the emotional weight of the past but will also explore themes of growth, legacy, and second chances. Viewers can expect new character arcs, possible cast additions, and evolving relationships as the series moves into its fourth year.

The storyline will continue to highlight the risks and heroism of both professional and incarcerated firefighters, while also reflecting real-life events like the recent L.A. wildfires.

Since filming is still going on in Vancouver—fans can expect more news and behind-the-scenes photos from Max Thieriot, Diane Farr, Kevin Alejandro, Jordan Calloway, Jules Latimer, Tye White—and Leven Rambin.

The fourth season of Fire Country will likely start airing on CBS in Oct 17, 2025.
