Get ready for another thrilling season of love, drama, and unexpected twists! The eighth season of Love Is Blind has returned, and this time the reality dating show takes us to some new and interesting locations. Nick and Vanessa Lachey host the hit Netflix show Kinetic Content, which continues its unique social experiment in which single people look for love without ever meeting.
This season, which starts on February 14, 2025, has a whole new group of hopeful romantics from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who are ready to find their true love in the pods. This season has 32 singles, the most of any season so far. Their ages range from 26 to 43. Where was Season 8 of Love’s Blind filmed, though? The beautiful locations that serve as the backdrop for this season’s love stories are about to be explored.
Where Was ‘Love Is Blind Season 8‘ Filmed?
Love Is Blind Season 8 was filmed in multiple locations. The pods, which are where contestants meet each other, were in Santa Clarita, California. The engaged pairs went to Roatán, Bay Islands, Honduras, to stay at the Kimpton Grand Roatán Resort & Spa for a luxurious getaway. In the end, they went to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where they tied the knot and lived together. Let’s take a closer look at all of the filming locations:

Minneapolis, Minnesota – The Home Base
This season, Love Is Blind takes its social experiment to Minneapolis, Minnesota, which is known for having a lot of different cultures and a growing dating scene. The production team picked Minneapolis because it has a close-knit community and a Midwestern feel, which makes it a great place for singles looking for love.
A contestant shared, “It’s such a small community. You see the same people over and over. I just never found the right person that clicked for me.”
Fun fact: Minneapolis has been a filming location for other big productions, including Jingle All the Way and Purple Rain!

Santa Clarita, California – The Iconic Pods
Like previous seasons, the famous Love Is Blind pods were set up in Santa Clarita, California. This secluded location allows contestants to focus solely on emotional connections without distractions from the outside world.
According to the production designer, “The pods are the heart of the show. We’ve made some exciting updates this season to keep the experience fresh and immersive.”
Fun fact: Santa Clarita has also been a popular filming spot for Hollywood movies like Django Unchained and NCIS.

Roatán, Honduras – Romantic Getaway
After leaving the pods, the engaged couples traveled to Kimpton Grand Roatán Resort & Spa in Roatán, Honduras, for their romantic retreat. With crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, and breathtaking sunsets, it was the perfect place for love to blossom—or fall apart!
A cast member revealed, “This place was like paradise. Being here made us forget all our worries and focus on each other.”
Fun fact: Roatán has also hosted major productions, including scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Back to Minneapolis – Real Life & Weddings
After their tropical getaway, the couples returned to Minneapolis to test their relationships in the real world. From living together to meeting friends and family, this phase was crucial to see if their love could survive outside of the show. The season’s weddings were filmed at various stunning venues around Minneapolis, highlighting the city’s romantic side.
When Did the Filming of ‘Love Is Blind Season 8‘ Take Place?
Filming for Love Is Blind Season 8 took place in early 2024. The pod experiment was conducted in Santa Clarita, followed by the luxurious getaway in Roatán, and wrapped up with the real-life experiences and weddings in Minneapolis.
Love Is Blind Season 8 Plot Summary
Love Is Blind is a one-of-a-kind reality dating show that flips the traditional way of finding love on its head. Set in Minneapolis, Minnesota, it brings 32 singles—aged 26 to 43—into the famous “pods” to find love without seeing each other.
